STETHOSCOPE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: The enclosed stethoscope is a fully functioning instrument. It has been given a noise-dampening feature to prevent possible hazards that could arise when children play with it. Any noise can be amplified including knocks on the diaphragm or tapping it with fingers. Without this noise-dampening feature there is risk of damage to the hearing when earpieces are inserted. If being used by older children, instructions are included to remove the noise-dampening feature.
